Creating music and experiences that inspire, James seeks to allow community and healing to arise. Woodwind performance both live and online (Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet), experiential learning workshops, composition and yoga instruction both live and online all become vehicles for transformation, healing and joy.

The Dear River Video Project

Live premier April 28, 2022 as part of the Minnesota Humanities Center “We Are Water” exhibit opening celebration in Lake City, Minnesota.
A project sponsored by and in collaboration with the Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance.

Based on the 2008 string quartet composition Pepin Moon, the Dear River project weaves image, music and poetry together creating a musical nature meditation. It is an opportunity to breathe, find presence and reconnect with spirit and place.
